The Gerrards Cross Fun Run 2016

The Gerrards Cross Fun Run is taking place on Sunday 22nd May 2016 from 11am – 4pm. It’s the town’s largest fundraising event with 1500 runners. The GX Fun Run welcomes everyone; you can participate as an individual or as part of a team with friends, family or colleagues.

The objective of the GX Fun Run is to bring together and involve the local residents and businesses whilst raising funds to support charities. Nexus has helped this year by donating a gift voucher for a computer lesson.

An outstanding amount of over £245,500 has been raised over the last 8 Fun Runs and this will be the 9th 5K Charity Fun Run.

This year’s race will follow a newly developed route around the residential roads of Gerrards Cross. The course will be 5km long and finish on the East Common. Anyone from the age of 8 years is welcome to participate in the main race.

On the day a variety of attractions and entertainment will take place on East Common including:

• BBQ
• Pimms & Beer Tent
• Live Music
• Classic Cars (weather dependent)
• Inflatables

The Gerrards Cross Fun Run is a great day for the whole family so be sure to pop along and soak up the atmosphere or sign up if you wish to take part. Registration has been extended until the 13th May.
