Problems opening .docx and .xlsx on office 2003?

After a meeting I had last week at the Rotary breakfast meeting in Gerrards Cross I understand a few people are looking for a solution to open the new format of office document files without having to upgrade to office 2007 or 2010.

Microsoft have released a converter that once you have downloaded and installed will allow you to open the new file types. It’s really intuitive and works automatically so hence such a short guide.
