The Chalfont Feast Day returns to the village of Chalfont St Peter on Saturday 24th June 2017.
Make sure you add the date to your diary and bring along your friends and family for a fun filled day out.
This annual event which takes place on Gold Hill Common has been running since 2009 and is a great way of bringing the community and local residents together.
The fair dates back to 1229 after a Right was approved to hold an annual fair in Chalfont St Peter, on the occasion of St Peter’s Day.
There’s something for everyone with the array of attractions and stalls.
Here’s just a handful of amusements present on the day:
- Dog show (sponsored by Goddards Veterinary Group)
- Craft tent
- Coconut shy
- Food and drink
- Fun fair
It’s the perfect summer’s day out when the sun is glowing through the sky and everyone’s outside having a jolly good time.
Why not pack a picnic and come on down to Gold Hill Common for the day?
There are plenty of refreshments to keep you cooled down, plus lots of entertainment to keep the children occupied!
Although the event is free to attend donations are encouraged with profits from the event going towards local good causes.
The Feast Day always brings a spectacular turnout of people so be sure not to miss out on this great event!
