Hello everyone, I’m interested in the question of what happens to the company’s shares during its takeover and will it continue to exist?

Hello, the acquiring company will pay the acquiring company a certain amount of its shares. Once such a transaction is announced, the stock price of the shares of the selling company will become a function of the price of the shares of the acquiring company. You can find out how this all happens at https://imaa-institute.org/mergers-acquisitions-basics-key-steps-acquisitions-divestitures-investments/, where there is detailed information about maa mergers and acquisitions.
