This question may get some snarky or sarcastic responses, but let me assume the person who asked may be new to Quora, and is thinking about a big story from their own country or their own city. The problem is that a big story in one place may be totally unknown in another. For example, if I am asked about a politician from India, perhaps I’ve heard of that person, especially if it’s the prime minister; but most likely, I’m more familiar with the leaders of my own and neighboring countries.
