Citrix XenDesktop is a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) product that allows users to remotely access and operate Microsoft Windows desktops in a data center or a public or private cloud via devices located elsewhere. Users can access Windows virtual applications and desktops through the Citrix Receiver, and the virtual applications are delivered and managed via XenApp.
Core features of Citrix Virtual Desktop
At the core of XenDesktop is the Delivery Controller, which stores configuration and other settings managed via Citrix Studio or Citrix Director in a database.
The StoreFront portal displays the desktops and applications assigned to users. Upon authentication at the StoreFront, users only have to click an icon in the portal to access their assigned desktops and applications.
Connections to virtual desktops are managed through the Citrix Receiver client, available for several operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Web browsers or thin client devices can also be used to connect to virtual desktops.
As a Citrix product, XenDesktop offers native support for Citrix HDX, a suite of technologies that incorporates its proprietary Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) remote protocol for passing data between local and remote clients, data compression, and multimedia redirection.
Citrix XenDesktop also includes Provisioning Services for real-time provisioning of desktops using a single disk image.
I hope this information will be helpful!

Citrix optimizes the delivery of voice, video and telephony features of Microsoft Teams within a virtualized environment. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops maximizes server scalability by redirecting multi-media capabilities to the client for a high-performance user experience.

Hi, I’m used to PS Aux command to check all running processes in linux. But recently a friend of mine tells me that there are many additional commands to control the processes. There is very little detailed information in the documentation. Can you advise where to read more information?4th June 2022 at 9:35 pm #244023MarokimaruParticipant
Books maybe some or maybe there are interesting guides with full descriptions of commands and examples. To make it easier to understand. Since I’ve only been working with linux for a few weeks.4th June 2022 at 9:37 pm #244024ZaigenziParticipant
In addition to the official documentation, many other sources describe all the commands in detail, many even with examples. Here is a good article about checking running processes in Linux https://www.hostforweb.com/article/how-check-running-processes-linux/ You can read it. Cause it has a clear description of all the process management commands, how to allocate resources to run, how to kill processes and prioritize processes, and much more. By the way, they are helpful commands.
