We are a young startup, our project began to develop rapidly, and now we are actively attracting investments in our project. But there is one problem, which payment gateway for a startup is better to choose, so that a large number of financial transactions could be processed quickly.
If you attract up to $50,000, you don’t have to think too hard about the choice of payment gateways. You choose any one, literally. The most popular gateway is paypal. Easy to use, no need to create a merchant account.
Paypal collects almost 3% + $0.30 per debit card transaction. For us such a percentage would be high. So we are looking for other options. But we can’t decide yet. Since many payment systems have security problems.
But paypal just has one of the best security systems, but you are right for a startup 3% commission is quite high price. You can use Adyen which is an excellent payment gateway provider. Its commission is 1%, which is already much less than paypal. Also free account registration. No hidden fees.
