What is this software reporter tool, and why does it keep using so much of my CPU? It slows down my PC making it difficult to perform tasks. Any insights would be helpful.
Hello Adriaan, you are having an issue with the software reporter tool high CPU on Windows. This can be fixed by following many methods so the easiest one is to Update Chrome and clear cache. To do that, Launch Chrome, press on the menu and choose Settings and steer to the About Chrome tab. Now ensure that Chrome is up-to-date and check if the high CPU usage issue is fixed.
