The question is inspired by a recent topic. And what do you think about the newfangled “cloud” services when the accounting program is not bought, as usual, and is not installed on your computer (or local network). And it is rented via the Internet. Do you use such a service? Are you satisfied? If not, then why, what stops? How do you feel about this kind of stuff in principle?

Cost savings are one of the main reasons for moving the workload to the cloud. When used correctly, cloud infrastructure can reduce the total cost of ownership compared to on-premises infrastructure. However, this does not mean that simply transferring applications and data to the cloud inevitably leads to cost savings. Optimization of “cloud” costs https://itoutposts.com/cloud-costs-optimization/ and maintaining the predictability of cloud computing costs directly depends on the ability to find reasonable solutions on how to distribute workloads.
