Regrets that last a minute, or remain through the end of the day? Sure, everyone has regrets in the middle of frustration. For most doctors, its not usually the frustration of a sick or dying patient, mind you. Usually, it’s the frustration of electronic medical records or the insurance billing people who hound you to death to check off their boxes, when you really want to practice the medicine that you were trained for. And you may need to set aside 3-4 hours of the day for that annoying part you never trained for. But at the end of the day, medicine is incredibly satisfying.
